Mercedes-Benz 中型商用車 TN 在全世界的評價都相當不錯，但中華賓士似乎不怎麼引進這款車，不管是救護車、警車、商用車，數量都十分稀少，甚至也有一定比例是水貨。反觀香港，港片裡面的箱型警車不是 Defender 就是 TN。

消防單位的車輛屬於大宗標購，理論上這種總代理意態闌珊的車款不太容易得標，有可能只是專門為該次標案專案引進的，不過長時間以來賓士箱型消防車只有「傳聞」，終於在前幾天親眼一睹。

Maybe the Luxury image of Mercedes-Benz is too tough to accept its commercial vehicle in market. Even the importer of Mercedes-Benz turned negetive on this part. It is interesting that the first importer of Mercedes-Benz Taiwan growed by commercial Mercedes-Benz. But over 85% of profit in Mercedes-Benz Taiwan is resulted from passenger cars.）

這款消防車屬於比較新款的 T2，方向燈沒有傳統波浪造型，但上揚的燈眉以及巨大的水箱罩還是讓人過目不忘。

事實上消防單位採用賓士車的比例算是比較高的，早年大型雲梯車幾乎都是賓士的天下，這幾年則是幫忙順益消了不少庫存。不過據打火兄弟表示，這批台製賓士的零件仍舊是「原廠同步」，養起來真是不簡單。
